The bed was super comfy, like sleeping on a cloud, and the owner was wicked friendly, helping me plot my way around town. The location was solid, near food spots like Fuoco Matto—wicked good pizza. Just a heads up, had to climb a few stairs. But man, that pizza was totally worth it!

The culinary adventure in Florence was top-tier! Fuoco Matto tempted us with delectable pizzas just a stone's throw away, while La Cucina del Garga offered vibrant dishes that made every meal a celebration. The proximity to local eateries was a foodie’s dream!
Checking in felt like a treasure hunt without the map! Arriving after 1pm left us blindly wandering two floors without our room number. And my room was in dire need of a little TLC—no cleaning after the first night? Luckily, the city’s charm made it shine bright despite these hiccups.

The room was cozy, but the confusing check-in left us wandering two floors.

Positive, The bed was comfortable, and I slept really well. It’s centrally located and great for walking to attractions. They even provided local info via a QR code in the room, which was super helpful. Plus, the nearby restaurant, Matto Matto, was a nice budget-friendly find. 😊

The staff provided personalized assistance with lugging our bags up the numerous steps, which was greatly appreciated.
Be prepared for over 90 steps to reach the rooms without any lift or assistance, which can be quite taxing, especially with heavy luggage.

This place was wonderful for our family trip! We enjoyed leisurely strolls by the Boboli Gardens, which the kids loved exploring. The spacious room was a big plus with our three kids, allowing us to relax after a busy day of sightseeing.
My wife says that another bathroom would have helped us all get ready quicker.

The room was pretty comfy with a nice bed that made for good sleep, but I wish there were more pillows. The fridge was a nice touch for drinks and snacks, and the location made it super easy to grab breakfast nearby. Just a heads up, the bottom sheet didn’t fit right, so it came off during the night, which was a bit annoying.

It was just an optimal selection for a short stayover in Florence with high value for money. I got a little balcony with my room, which was nice for enjoying the fresh air after a day of exploring. Be prepared for a few stairs if you're bringing a lot of luggage.

Perfect for solo travelers seeking charm
The staff were great. They helped me carry my suitcase up three flights of stairs when I arrived. I got a little balcony with my room. Not a grand view but nice to sit outside and take a breath.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive but worth the experience.
